Ducati has launched the new Streetfighter V2 and V2 S in India starting from ₹₹17.50 lakh

Ducati has launched the new Streetfighter V2 range in India with prices beginning at ₹17.50 lakh for the standard model and ₹19.48 lakh for the Streetfighter V2 S. Both variants feature Ducati’s latest 890cc V2 engine, lighter chassis components and updated electronics, bringing a sharper middleweight naked to Indian buyers.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 design and ergonomics

The Streetfighter V2 carries Ducati’s signature mass-forward stance, aggressive LED DRL and exposed mechanical profile, giving it the unmistakable Streetfighter attitude. New six-spoke Y-design wheels enhance both aesthetics and performance by reducing weight.

Ergonomics has been refined to make the bike friendlier for daily riding. A wide handlebar, revised footrest position and an 838mm seat height create a relaxed yet sporty rider triangle, making long commutes, highway rides and spirited weekend runs equally enjoyable.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 engine and chassis

Under the tank sits Ducati’s new 890cc 90-degree V2 engine — the lightest twin-cylinder motor the brand has ever produced. It delivers 118bhp and 93Nm, with strong torque available from as low as 3,000rpm, resulting in quick throttle response in the city and strong acceleration on open roads. Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 ensures smoother, more immediate gear changes, while the slipper clutch improves stability when downshifting aggressively.

Structurally, the bike uses Ducati’s aluminium monocoque frame with the engine as a stressed member, contributing to significant weight reduction. At 178kg (wet without fuel) for the V2 and 175kg for the V2 S, this is the lightest Streetfighter ever made. A new double-sided swingarm, inspired by the Panigale V4, further improves stability and handling precision.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 suspension and braking

The standard Streetfighter V2 uses a fully adjustable Marzocchi USD fork and a Kayaba monoshock, offering a versatile balance between comfort and performance. The V2 S upgrades to Ohlin’s NIX-30 forks and an Ohlin’s rear shock, paired with a lightweight lithium-ion battery for improved agility and feedback. Both variants feature a Sachs steering damper for added high-speed stability.

Braking is handled by Brembo M50 monobloc callipers with twin 320mm front discs, providing strong bite and excellent modulation both on the road and on the track.

Ducati Streetfighter V2 electronics and features

Powered by a 6-axis IMU, the Streetfighter V2 receives a comprehensive set of rider aids: Cornering ABS with slide control, Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control. Riding modes — Race, Sport, Road, and Wet — allow riders to instantly tailor the bike’s behaviour.

A 5-inch TFT instrument cluster offers three display styles and a clear, modern interface. Optional features include a racing exhaust, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, TPMS, Lap Timer Pro and a USB charging port.
