Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 launched at ₹2.79 lakh
The Flying Flea C6 is Royal Enfield’s first EV and comes with a 154km claimed range

Royal Enfield has officially launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, at ₹2.79 lakh. If you prefer buying the battery as an add-on, there’s a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option that lowers the upfront cost to ₹1.99 lakh.
The Flying Flea C6 is based on a new ground-up platform and looks very different from RE’s usual designs. Drawing its name from the lightweight motorcycles used during wartime air drops, the Flying Flea C6 brings Royal Enfield into the electric era with a unique design. The C6 is positioned as a premium offering and will be sold through dedicated EV retail spaces.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 design and features
The Flying Flea C6 adopts a compact form factor, with a narrow midsection and a minimalistic body profile. The overall silhouette is rather slim with a single slim seat and a tight rear section which integrates the tail-light, indicators and number plate into the mudguard assembly. The battery housing features fin-like elements for cooling.
Lighting is fully LED, and the motorcycle features a wireless charging pad and a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen display. The system supports touch inputs and offers mobile connectivity, along with full-screen navigation. Also on offer are features like keyless ignition, five ride modes, cornering ABS and traction control.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 chassis and powertrain
The Flying Flea C6 is powered by a 3.91kWh battery pack coupled with a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 20.6bhp and 60Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a belt drive system. The claimed IDC range is 154km. Royal Enfield claims a top speed of 115kmph and a 0-60kmph acceleration time of 3.7 seconds. Charging is handled by an onboard charger, with a claimed 0-100 per cent charging time of 2 hours and 16 minutes.
The motorcycle is built around a perimeter frame with the battery acting as a stressed member. A separate subframe supports the seat. Suspension duties are handled by a girder-linked twin-shock setup at the front offering 100mm of travel, while the rear uses a monoshock with 110mm of travel. Braking is managed by a 260mm front disc with twin-piston ByBre callipers and a 220mm rear disc with a single-piston ByBre unit. The C6 rides on 19-inch wheels at both ends, fitted with 90-section tubeless tyres. It has a seat height of 823mm, ground clearance of 207mm and a kerb weight of 124kg, making it the lightest Royal Enfield motorcycle in current production.
