Mercedes Benz EQS Celebration Edition launched
Mercedes Benz India gives the EQS subtle changes and additional features with the introduction of the Celebration Edition to keep it fresh for 2026. Adding a few styling changes and features to the interior, the already desirable EQS is now giving even more value for the same price.
New seating configuration for the EQS Celebration Edition SUV
The powertrain and battery packs remain unchanged but the lineup now gets an option of a 5 or a 7 seater to choose from. The EQS 580 4MATIC supporting the 122kW battery pack now comes with a 7 seater configuration for the customers who want a proper fast electric family SUV. The EQS 450 4MATIC supporting the 122kW battery pack now comes only with 5 seater configuration for the customers.
Fresh options for the year EQS Celebration Edition SUV
Mercedes Benz India has introduced a new Rear Seat Package Plus which gives the EQS SUV ventilated rear seats. A styling pack is also part of the change which is called the AMG Line that has been introduced for both the variants to give the EQS SUV a more sporty design and aggressive look.
Mercedes Benz EQS Celebration Edition performance
The Mercedes Benz EQS 580 supports the same 122kWh battery pack as earlier which produces 536bhp and 858Nm of torque which makes this 3-ton SUV sprint from 0-100 in 4.7 seconds. The WLTP claimed range is 809km. The EQS 450 also supports the 122kW battery pack which produces 365bhp and 800Nm pushing the car from 0-100 in 6.1 seconds. The WLTP claimed range is 820km.
Mercedes Benz EQS SUV prices remain unchanged
The good part, prices of both the models remain unchanged with the EQS 580 4MATIC priced at 1.48Cr with a 7 seater configuration and the EQS 450 4MATIC with a 5 seater configuration priced at 1.34Cr.
