Tata Motors has officially unveiled the new Tata Sierra, bringing back the iconic nameplate with a contemporary and tech-forward SUV designed for the Indian market. The Sierra combines spaciousness, cutting-edge technology, and powerful engine options to offer a premium and confident driving experience.


Tata Sierra exterior

The front looks tall and bold, with a shiny black grille that proudly shows off the Sierra name. You’ll notice the cool full-width LED daytime running lights that stretch across the front, paired with split headlamps that give it a strong road presence. Night Saber Bi-LED Booster headlamps that intelligently extend the throw at higher speeds. The 19-inch alloy wheels really fill up the space around the tires. Around the outside, you’ll find plenty of glossy black accents and smooth, flush door handles that make the design feel sleek yet rugged. If you’re a fan of the original Sierra, you’ll appreciate the nod to the classic model with the distinct rear door windows and the surrounding glass, a really nice touch that ties the old with the new. The shoulder line is sharp and finishes up with a wide LED tail lamp at the back that spans across, giving the SUV a modern and elegant look. For added practicality and style, the Sierra features a clamshell tailgate with a sporty roof spoiler on top. The rear bumper gets some gloss black touches and a silver skid plate to complete the tough SUV look.


Tata Sierra dimensions

The Sierra sets new benchmarks for interior space in its segment, featuring a 2730 mm wheelbase that delivers exceptional legroom and comfort. Passengers benefit from a roomy cabin with 900 mm of couple distance and 973 mm of second-row legroom, alongside a wide shoulder room of 1451 mm up front and 1415 mm in the rear. The rear gangway is 316 mm wide, allowing easy movement inside the cabin. Practicality is enhanced further by the massive 622-litre boot space, expandable to 1257 litres with the seats folded, making it ideal for everything from daily commuting to weekend getaways.


Tata Sierra Infotainment and Connectivity

Tata Sierra's Theater Pro infotainment system is a standout feature, transforming the cabin into a premium entertainment space. It offers a horizon view triple screen setup with two 12.3-inch large screens and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, delivering wide and cinematic visuals. The Arcade Suite provides 30 curated apps for gaming, streaming, and browsing, ensuring every journey is entertaining. The audio system includes a 12-speaker JBL Black system with Dolby Atmos and Harman AudioworX enhancements, delivering immersive sound quality. Connectivity stays seamless with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus the iRA Connected Car App that offers 75 features including five industry-first ones for smarter, safer, and more intuitive vehicle interaction.

Tata Sierra Technology and Safety

A highlight is the introduction of India's first AR Heads-Up Display (HUD) in an ICE vehicle. This system projects real-time driving information onto the windshield with augmented reality guidance arrows, making every drive safer and more confident. The Sierra also features a Level 2 ADAS suite with 22 key advanced driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and intelligent speed assist, enhancing safety and convenience. The vehicle architecture, named A.R.G.O.S, is a robust next-generation platform designed for multi-energy ICE powertrains and advanced chassis technologies, allowing a future-ready and capable SUV experience.Three terrain modes (Normal, Wet, Rough), superglide suspension with frequency-dependent damping.

Tata Sierra Engine

The Tata Sierra offers three main powertrain options to cater to varied preferences:

- A 1.5-litre Hyperion TGDi petrol engine producing 158bhp and 255 Nm of torque.

- A 1.5-litre Kryojet CRAIL diesel engine with 116bhp and 280 Nm torque.

- A 1.5-litre Revotron naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 104bhp and 145 Nm torque.

Paired with modern transmissions including a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
