BenQ Mobiuz EX3210U Review

Is the BenQ Mobiuz EX3210U easy on the eyes? Find out!

When it comes to monitors, gamers have had to choose between blur reduction and a fast sync rate. The BenQ Mobiuz EX3210U offers them the option of going with both simultaneously. Its adaptive sync and blur reduction work wonderfully together to offer tear-free high-res, high refresh rate gaming. For the longest time, BenQ hasn’t had a 32-inch 4K gaming monitor in its line-up. With skyrocketing demand for gaming monitors in this particular form factor, BenQ has decided to seize the opportunity with the 3210U. With a 32-inch IPS panel, a 144Hz refresh rate, Adaptive-sync and extended colour, this particular 4K model isn’t just for the casual gamer. It has a colour gamut that surpasses all of its competition with an astonishing 116 per cent of the DCI-P3 covered. The monitor features an edge LED backlight that allows it to produce a peak HDR brightness over 600 nits. Additionally, there is a zone dimming function that helps with contrast, making blacks look darker. Like a number of its competitors and stablemates, it gets HDRi emulation to help make SDR that much more bearable. The HDR colour mode proved to be handy while editing some of the videos on the evo India YT channel. While taking a break from editing, our team found the racing colour mode to work very well with games. Then there are things such as Ebook mode which keep the display warm and desaturated making it a godsend while working long hours.

Apart from the top-notch quality of the panel itself, a number of factors come together to make this a premium monitor. First is the build quality. The all-white build (save for the stand in silver and red) has a texture that resists fingerprint smudges and will stand out easily on any desk, especially when you consider the four light bars at the back. It is easy to find the right viewing angle with a 100mm height adjustment complemented by 5/15 degrees of tilt and 15 degrees swivel to each side. There are enough connectivity options with two HDMI 2.1, five USB 3.0, one Display Port 1.4 and a 3.5mm jack. Audio is another department where the treVolo-equipped monitors stand out. The 3210U with its three speakers is easily the best sounding monitor in the price range. At Rs 87,500, the 3210U might not be accessible to everyone, but if you have the cash to splurge, there are few other options that come even close.
