The 2022 Alto K10 is available in four variants — STD, LXI, VXI and the range topping VXI+. It is underpinned by the fifth-gen HEARTECT platform and gets the option of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AGS transmission on its top two variants.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 styling

The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has received a completely new exterior for the 2022 model year, with this car being completely developed in India itself. It is bigger than its predecessor in terms of overall dimensions and that should result in more space on the inside. It gets a huge blackened grille, with hexagonal elements, at the front which is flanked by bigger halogen headlights on either side. Over to the sides, the new Alto K10 gets a very noticeably shoulder line in comparison to its predecessor. It rides on 13-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, there are no alloy wheels available, not even as an option. At the back, the new Alto K10 gets smaller tail lights than before and overall it looks very similar to the current Celerio.

The styling changes continue on the inside with the new Alto K10 now boasting a dashboard that is more upright. It gets Maruti’s all-new 7-inch ‘SmartPlay’ touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The next big change is the steering wheel, borrowed from the Celerio, featuring controls for the infotainment system. The front power window switches are mounted under this infotainment system, similar to the S-Presso and the current Celerio. The Alto K10 also gets a bespoke digital instrument cluster too. More kit includes a four-speaker audio system and on the safety front the Alto K10 gets dual-airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and front seatbelt pretensioners. Maruti is also offering two accessory packages — ‘Glinto’ and 'Impacto’ which bring several exterior cosmetic updates with the former focused on chrome while the latter getting contrast orange elements. The new Alto K10 gets the option of six colours as well.
