2022 Range Rover Sport prices start from Rs 1.64 crore, launch expected soon
The 2022 Range Rover Sport is set to be launched in India barely days after its world premiere, with Land Rover having revealed its prices starting from Rs 1.64 crore (all prices ex-showroom), ranging up to Rs 1.84 crore. Land Rover will offer the car in four different variants with petrol and diesel powertrains on offer. However, prices of only the diesel trims are known for now, but we expect the prices of the petrol trim to be out soon as well.
What’s in the 2022 Range Rover Sport?
The 2022 Range Rover Sport receives a design language inspired by the Velar, Evoque, and the new Range Rover, with a clean, minimalist look featuring sleek elements. The headlamps are sleeker than before, but Land Rover hasn’t opted for the look of the standard Range Rover’s invisible tail lamps. The front overhang is shorter, while the rear overhang sticks out a little more. Wheel sizes range from 21-inches to 23-inches, the latter of which are available optionally. An overall handsome looking SUV this, with a minimalist design and no extra shapes and cuts.
While petrol, diesel, and even the plug-in hybrid variants have been listed on Land Rover’s website, prices of only the diesel have been revealed so let’s get into that first. The diesel is a 3-litre, six-cylinder turbocharged unit, producing 345bhp and 700Nm of torque! The 2022 Range Rover Sport also gets a 4.4-litre V8 with 522bhp and 750Nm of torque in global markets — we hope Land Rover offers this one here too!
In terms of the equipment, the 2022 Range Rover Sport features a 13.1-inch curved infotainment touchscreen and a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, along with a 29-speaker Meridian 3D surround sound system, a 3D surround camera, digital LED headlamps with image projection, all-wheel steering, air suspension with switchable air springs, and adaptive off-road cruise control with four settings among others.

The 2022 Range Rover Sport will be offered in four different variants, namely the Dynamic SE, HSE, Autobiography and First Edition. Listed below are the prices for all variants:
Dynamic SE: Rs 1.64 crore
Dynamic HSE: Rs 1.71 crore
Autobiography: Rs 1.81 crore
First Edition: Rs 1.84 crore
