2024 Mahindra XUV700 launched, gets a new paint option, new interiors features and connected tech
The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 has been launched at Rs 13.99 lakh. It gets a new ‘Napoli Black’ paint and the option of a black grille, roof rails and alloys on the AX7 and AX7L variants. On the inside of this updated SUV, you get cooled seats at the front, while a captain seat configuration is also optional on the aforementioned AX7 and AX7L variants.
2024 Mahindra XUV700 design
The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 has the same styling as before, but now gets an additional Napoli Black paint option across the range. Moreover, the AX7 and AX7L variants get the option of a blacked-out grille, roof rails and alloys. It continues to ride on 18-inch wheels and gets flush-door handles.

Inside, the front seats on the 2024 XUV700 now get a ventilation function and first-in-segment memory ORVMs. The AX7 and AX7L variants can be specced with captain-seats in the middle row now, over the standard seven-seater configuration. The updated SUV also boasts about 13 additional Adrenox connected features such as toll diary, M-lens and ecosense leaderboard, in addition to the 70 features that were already offered before. Mahindra has also launched a new ‘Ask Mahindra’ concierge service for vehicle technology-related queries and assistance to get instant support through vehicle e-call from the infotainment. The services can be availed on weekdays during 8am to 8pm. Features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree camera, Sony sound system, Level 1 ADAS and a large panoramic sunroof continue to remain the same.
2024 Mahindra XUV700 engine
The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 gets the same engine options as before – there’s a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel mill which puts out 182bhp and 450Nm, while the 2-litre turbo-petrol engine churns out 197bhp and 380Nm of torque. Both the engines can be paired to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission. The AX7L variant also gets an optional all-wheel-drive.
2024 Mahindra XUV700 price and rivals
Despite the additional features, the optional blackend theme and the new paint, the 2024 Mahindra XUV700 costs the same as before. It starts from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end AX7L variant demands Rs 23.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of the Tata Safari, Toyota Innova HyCross, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus and Kia Carens.
