The 2026 Kia Seltos has made its global debut in India, returning with a brand-new K3 platform, bigger dimensions, more features and an updated and redesigned interior. Kia will announce prices on January 2, 2026, while bookings open nationwide when the clock hits midnight on December 11, 2025.

The all-new Seltos brings Kia’s global design language to India with a bolder front end, featuring the digital tiger face and Ice Cube LED projectors. The SUV also gets Star Map LED DRLs and connected LED tail-lamps. The car has become bigger too – it now measures 4,460mm in length (+95mm) and 1,830mm in width (+30mm), with a 2,690mm wheelbase (+80mm). You also get flush-type door handles and keyless entry. The wheel sizes range from 16-inch to 18-inch, and the latter also gets neon brake calipers. The Kia Seltos will be available in 10 colours – including the new Morning Haze and Magma Red.

Inside, the Kia Seltos takes a leap in technology with a panoramic 30-inch Trinity display setup that includes twin 12.3-inch screens for the cluster and info screen, and a 5-inch screen for the HVAC controls. The cabin layout has been redesigned and offers four dual-tone upholstery choices, depending on the variant. Features also include a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 8-speaker Bose audio system, 360-degree camera, 10-way powered driver seat with memory and massage functions, and ventilated front seats. Now there’s a D-cut steering wheel with media controls, ADAS functions, and drive modes. Safety is taken care of with ADAS Level 2, and the standard safety equipment includes 6 airbags, and 24 active and passive systems.
Kia Seltos engine and gearbox
The Kia Seltos’ powertrain options remain unchanged with three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine making 113bhp and 144Nm paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT; a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol producing 158bhp and 253Nm offered with a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT; and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel making 114bhp and 250Nm paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Kia has not announced the prices yet, but numbers will be revealed on January 2, 2026. Pre-bookings begin tonight at midnight across India (December 11, 2025). The Kia Seltos rivals other cars like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the Tata Sierra.
