Audi unveils the MY25 A3
The 2025 Audi A3 gets a new set of matrix headlights with customizable light signatures. It also gets a sportier RS aesthetic with side skirts, large air inlets and redesigned bumpers. The cabin has a fresh design as well but the powertrain remains the same.
Audi A3 design
The Audi A3 gets a new design of matrix headlights with a sharper and sportier design with four customisable LED DRL signatures, as well as a new set of tail lamps. The front features a single frameless grille, large angular air inlets, and a redesigned bumper. The car appears to be on a lower stance because of the side skirts and fresh bumpers for the front and rear. 18-inch wheels are standard, while optional 19-inch wheels are also available. It will be offered in three colour options – District Green, Ascari Blue and Progressive Red.
Audi A3 engine
The Audi A3 gets two engine options – The 1.5-litre petrol turbo with mild hybrid tech makes 148bhp and the 2-litre diesel makes 148bhp. Both engine options are mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission.
Audi A3 interior
The Audi A3 gets a significant design update in the cabin as well. It features a new three-spoke steering wheel with multifunction plus, and a new gear selector, similar to the one in the Audi RS e-tron GT. The air-con vents get a new blade design and the centre console has also been rejigged with different positioning of elements as well as a wireless charger. The 30-colour interior ambient lighting has also improved with contour lights running around the centre console and door sills, extended upto the illuminated cup holders. It offers options of two fabric inlays, made from 100 percent recycled polyester and Dinamica microfiber. It gets a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a Sonos sound system. Safety features include ADAS level 2 and parking assist.
Audi A3 rivals
India did not receive the previous generation of the Audi A3, and it remains to be seen if we may get this update. If launched, it will go up against the Mercedes-Benz A-Class limousine and the BMW 2-series.
