India’s only Porsche 911 GT3 RS Manthey takes on the standard GT3 RS in their natural habitat – the racetrack
X

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a machine honed for a singular purpose – lap times. But what happens when you want to go beyond? That’s where Manthey Racing enters the picture. The GT3 RS Manthey takes the already mental 3RS as a starting point, and then goes wild with aero. A new front splitter, a sharkfin with a massive spoiler at the end of it, a revised suspension to deal with the larger aero loads and braided brake lines – this kit has been honed on the racetrack, for the ultimate lap times. Just how fast is the Manthey Racing 911 GT3 RS? We head to the BIC, with a standard GT3 RS for perspective. Also on the cover is “our” BMW M4 Competition, a car that the evo India team specced in a striking shade of Ruby Star. With massive performance from the straight-six, we light up the rear tyres and absolutely send it around bends on our favourite driving road.

This issue isn’t short of legends – three of McLaren’s most significant competition-derived machines – the F1 GTR, P1 GTR and Senna GTR – come together in a landmark feature, followed by the surreal experience of driving them on public roads. We look back at the MP4-12C, the car that set the template for modern McLarens. We also celebrate automotive heritage with Honda’s 28-year journey in India. Also in this issue are reviews of the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Punch facelift, Tesla Model Y and the Ferrari Amalfi. We deep dive in to the updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class and check out the all-new Renault Duster. Catch updates from the Dakar, Audi’s F1 livery reveal and on two wheels, reviews of the Simple One Gen 2 and Yamaha XSR 155.
