Keeway SR 250 and SR 125 to be manufactured locally
Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), an Indian manufacturer, plans to manufacture the Keeway SR 250 and SR 125 within India by the end of 2023. The manufacturer has taken this decision driven by the response received for Keeway’s offerings in India. The manufacturer has also made certain announcements that enhance the ownership experience of the customers.
In addition to the local manufacturing, Keeway has introduced a special lucky draw for the first 500 customers of the Keeway SR 250, offering a chance to win 100 per cent cash back on the ex-showroom price. In addition to this, the company will soon launch the 'My SR My Way' platform, allowing customers to personalise their SR models and make them truly unique. Starting from September 2023, this platform will be available for all new purchases. While the Keeway SR 250 and SR 125 are currently offered in three standard colours at dealerships (Glossy White, Glossy Red, and Glossy Black), customers can now customise their colour preferences through the new platform.
Keeway plans to introduce a range of accessories for the SR 250 and SR 125 to further enhance the ownership experience. These include a front visor, bash plate, backrest, leg guard, saree guard, seat cover, fuel tank cover, and handrails. These accessories are designed to ensure safety and comfort across urban and rural areas.
Starting in September 2023, Keeway plans to introduce an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) designed exclusively for the SR 250 and SR 125. This AMC will offer customers benefits such as discounts on spare parts, accessories, and labour charges (excluding accidental repairs). Additionally, customers will enjoy discounted prices on engine oil and protection from labour rate revisions. As per Keeway, the aim of this initiative is to provide exceptional service and ensure a smooth ownership journey for SR model owners, catering to their everyday commuting needs.
The Keeway SR 125 is already available for purchase, while the SR 250 deliveries will commence on June 17th. The introductory price for the SR 250 is Rs. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) with a booking amount of Rs. 2000. Similarly, the SR 125 is priced at Rs. 1.19 lakh and can be booked for Rs. 1000.
