Maruti Suzuki Ignis BS6 launched; prices out; deliveries to start soon!

Maruti Suzuki recently unveiled the facelifted Ignis at the Auto Expo 2020. They have just announced the prices for the Ignis starting at Rs 4.89 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 7.20 lakh for the top-end Alpha AMT variant. Here below is the entire price list for the Ignis

Sigma: Rs 483,320

Delta: Rs 560,814

Zeta: Rs 583,320

The Ignis gets only some minor cosmetic changes that include a new front grille, redesigned bumper and new skid plates at the bottom along with a reworked rear bumper. Coming to the interiors the Ignis dashboard has not changed much and gets the new SmartPlay infotainment system that now has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis gets the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that has now been upgraded to meet the new BS6 emission norms with a similar power output of 83bhp along with 114Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT gearbox. The old 1.3-litre diesel engine has been axed from the line up due to poor sales last year itself. Bookings of the new Ignis were opened at the 2020 Auto Expo and deliveries to customers are to begin soon from the Nexa dealerships.
