Tata Tiago NRG launched at Rs 6.57 lakh
Tata Motors has launched the facelifted Tata Tiago NRG, reintroducing this crossover-hatchback to an already exciting lineup of cars by Tata. The NRG comes with a bunch of updated and exclusive features and is priced at Rs 20,000 more than the standard Tiago variant.
The big changes are on the styling front. The NRG gets a sporty look with a muscular body cladding, giving a more aggressive appeal as compared to the standard variant. It comes with a blacked out roof and integrated roof railings. The NRG gets a redesigned rear that is more edgy and muscular that, along with the armoured front cladding, complements the rugged look of the car. The Tata Tiago NRG gets a higher ground clearance at 181mm as compared to the standard variant which is only 170mm, and gets a similar 15-inch wheels.
The NRG gets a bunch of updates in the interiors, including a new charcoal black interior with Deco stitch full fabric seats. It is based on the XZ+ trim of the Tiago and features a fully digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8-speaker surround sound system by Harman. The NRG also features a rear parking camera, keyless entry and push button start. Android auto and Apple CarPlay is standard.
The Tiago NRG gets the same mechanical package as the standard Tiago. It is powered by the same 1.2-litre Revotron engine BS6 engine producing 85bhp at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 3300rpm. It also comes with two transmission options: a manual and an AMT.
The Tiago NRG comes in four colour options — foresta green, fire red, snow white and cloudy grey. The NRG models are already reaching the dealerships across the country and will be available for buying at the same. The prices for the Tiago NRG manual and AMT is Rs 6.57 lakh and Rs 7.09 lakh respectively.
