New Suzuki Ertiga showcased at the IIMS 2018

Suzuki Global Corporation has unveiled the 2018 Ertiga at the ongoing Indonesia International Motor Show 2018. It gets an aggressive looking front fascia, new bonnet, re-designed bumper and projector headlamps. The sides of the car also look sculpted with the lines that festoon its body.  It is based on the company’s new Heartect platform and the MPV is longer by 130mm compared to its predecessor.

The 7-seater MPV also gets changes in interiors like wooden finish accents and a new redesigned dashboard. The new Ertiga will be powered by Maruti’s new 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine. The Ertiga, since it made entry in 2012, has sold 676,000 units in markets like Indonesia, India and is exported to over 70 countries.

When launched in India, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will rival the Renault Lodgy. The company has not revealed any more details of the car regarding the launch date or other technical aspects.
