The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition has been unveiled and the SUV now gets an all-black aesthetic. The SV roundel and the badging on the front grille is finished in black for the first time and the exterior gets a gloss black finish, with the overall appearance of the SUV being stealthy and sporty.

The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition gets Narvik black paint, and to follow the monochrome colour scheme, the carbon fibre bonnet has been painted black too. The SUV rolls on 23-inch forged alloy wheels finished in gloss black, with the brake callipers and the quad exhausts also finished in gloss black. Meanwhile, the SV roundel on the tailgate has been finished in black ceramic.

Step inside the Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition and you will find an interior that matches the dark and purposeful colour scheme of the exterior. You get illuminated treadplates and the performance seats have been upholstered in Ebony Windsor leather, with the seats featuring the SV logo as well.

The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition is a mild-hybrid and it is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 626bhp of power and 750Nm of torque. This allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 96kmph (0-60mph) in 3.6 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 290kmph. The SUV also gets the 6D Dynamics suspension technology from the Land Rover Defender Octa.

The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition will be available to order from late 2025

The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition will be previewed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to July 13, and this SUV will be available to order from late 2025. In addition to the Black Edition, Range Rover is also introducing a new specially-tuned version of the Range Rover Sport SV globally, featuring the 6D suspension and the mild-hybrid powertrain, with a claimed top speed of 265kmph.
