VinFast, the all-electric Vietnamese automobile manufacturer, has launched the VF 6, which boasts of features like seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS and panoramic glass roof;
VinFast has just launched the VF 6, for a starting price of 16.49 lakh which goes up against the Hyundai Creta EV, MG Windsor Pro, Mahindra BE 6 and the BYD Atto 3. The VF 6 is available in three variants. Let's deep dive to find out what the VF 6 has to offer.
2025 VinFast VF 6 styling
The VF 6 features VinFast's signature 'V' shaped grille, with DRLs integrated that extend through the width of the car. At the centre, you can find the VinFast logo. Lowdown: you see a honeycomb pattern with a radar element at the centre. The car gets split headlamps sitting under the DRLs with the projector headlamps on top and the LED turn indicators under them. The side profile of the car has a curved, coupe-like appearance that is complemented well by the 18-inch wheels. The VF 6 sports 225/55 R18 tyres front and rear. The charging flap sits right above the front tyres and a little before the left-side doors. The rear-view mirrors have a camera on the underside as part of the 360-degree setup. The choice of door handles are conventional, and it gets chrome embellishments above the side doors and below the roof rails for a much more pronounced side profile styling. Towards the rear, the roofline tapers rather gently, giving the VF 6 a sporty stance. At the back, the tailgate is divided into three layers. The end-to-end DRL elements extend on both sides of the VinFast logo, with the actual taillights sitting just beneath it.
2025 VinFast VF 6 Interiors
The overall theme on the inside is minimalism. Almost all the controls of the car are grouped in and around the centre touchscreen, including the gear selector. The gear selector, being toggle switches inspired by a piano, has Drive, Neutral and Reverse placed horizontally in succession. Park and mode selector buttons sit on the extreme right and left. It also gets an 8-way powered driver seat. The Earth variant gets all black interiors, 12.9 inch infotainment screen, automatic AC and a powered driver seat. Whereas the VF 6 Wind variant gets Mocca brown interiors, premium vegan leather
upholstery, 8-way powered driver seat adjustment and front seats ventilation. It also gets dual-zone AC with air ionizer and PM 1.0 air filtration. It also gets an 8-speaker
audio system. The VF 6 Wind Infinity adds a large edge-to-edge panoramic fixed glass roof. A rather surprising omission is the lack of an instrument cluster behind the steering wheel that indicates the speed or level of charge. That would be visible via the coloured HUD projection (on the Wind variant) and on the right-hand side of the 12.9-inch, centre-mounted infotainment screen, further reducing the clutter. The AC vents are nicely integrated into the dashboard, with a part of it sitting under the infotainment. Down low next to the driver, there is a knob that controls the volume, with the hazard light switch to the right. Almost all other features, including adjusting the wing mirrors, are controlled via the infotainment.
