The Vroom exhibit at the Museum of Solutions in Mumbai aims to provide hands-on knowledge about automobiles to children
The Museum of Solutions (MuSo) in Mumbai has unveiled its latest exhibit called Vroom, and it is an automotive experience designed for children. This exhibit at the children’s museum has been conceptualised and executed in partnership with Planet Auto, and it is the perfect place for kids to experience automobiles in an immersive way.
A display of the Mercedes-Benz Patent-Motorwagen, the world’s first automobile
The exhibit spans 6000 square feet and it starts with a visual timeline of the history of the automobile, starting with the various kinds of wheels and how they evolved over time, followed by the Mercedes-Benz Patent-Motorwagen, the world’s first automobile. Other exhibits included the opportunity to check out how gearboxes and engines work, a Mechanical Bay that is powered by Mercedes-Benz India which lets visitors explore the components of an electric car, while WIAA (Western Indian Automobile Association) had vintage cars on display at the Vroom exhibit. We also received a crash course on how to examine tyres and determine their health on the basis of the tyre pressure and by using a tread indicator.

Being able to slide under a Mercedes-Benz E-Class (like a technician would in a workshop) and check out the underbody components was another interesting experience, and so was the driving simulator which was one of the most popular attractions. Motul is one of the partners for the exhibit as well. The best part about the Vroom exhibit at MuSo is that it is not a theory session like that in a classroom, it enables kids to check out a workshop-style zone that allows them to see and learn how vehicles function, while allowing them to dismantle parts and to identify components in a hands-on and practical atmosphere.
"We believe that MuSo is a playground of possibilities, where learning comes alive through hands-on experiences and where imagination truly has no limits," said Tanvi Jindal Shete, CEO and founder of MuSo
Speaking about the exhibit, Tanvi Jindal Shete, CEO and founder of MuSo, said “Vroom at MuSo is another chapter in how we at MuSo spark curiosity and creativity among children. We believe that MuSo is a playground of possibilities, where learning comes alive through hands-on experiences and where imagination truly has no limits. Vroom takes this belief even further, offering a first-of-its-kind automotive experience that lets visitors explore, tinker, and witness engineering in action. We are thrilled to partner with Planet Auto to bring this vision to life and make this immersive experience possible right here in Mumbai.” Vikram Mehta, CEO of Planet Auto added, “As car enthusiasts, we have always dreamed of a space where people could truly experience the magic of automobiles, and until now, nothing like this existed in India. Vroom at MuSo allows visitors of all ages to connect with cars in a completely immersive way. We are excited to partner with MuSo to bring this vision to life and grateful to our partners Motul, Mercedes, and WIAA for helping make Vroom a truly special experience.”
The Vroom exhibit is open to schools, families and the public from October 16, 2025, and visitors can check it out by purchasing tickets online at museumofsolutions.in or directly at the MuSo counters.
