BMW launches the second-gen 2 Gran Coupe with a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder engine in two variants;

BMW India has launched the new F74 generation, 2 Gran Coupe in two variants — 218 M Sport and 218 M Sport Pro. Both the variants get the same 1.5-litre 3-cylinder engine mated to a 7-speed DCT, producing 156bhp and 230Nm. The 218 M Sport Pro variant gets a bunch of additional equipment over the 218 M Sport. 2025 BMW 2 Gran Coupe price
The BMW 2 Gran Coupe’s 218 M Sport variant is priced at ₹46.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and the 218 M Sport Pro variant is priced at ₹48.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Its current rival, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine is on its way out and is priced at ₹46.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
2025 BMW 2 Gran Coupe variants and features
The 2 series has been launched in two variants, 218 M Sport and 218 M Sport Pro. The 2 Gran Coupe gets ‘M’ badges on the front fenders, aluminium door sill plates with ‘M’ inscription, a 10.25-inch instrument panel with ‘M’ stripes, a 10.75-inch infotainment screen, Veganza perforated upholstery in Oyster and Mocha colour, stainless-steel pedal covers, leather steering with ‘M’ badging, adaptive LED headlights and 18-inch ‘M’ lightweight alloy wheels.
Additionally, the 218 M Sport Pro gets more features such as an illuminated kidney grille, parking assistant plus — surround view control, top view, panorama view, remote 3D view. It also gets augmented view (AR) in the infotainment screen, BMW head-up display and drive recorder.
