2025 Skoda Kodiaq launched at ₹46.9 lakh

Skoda Auto India has launched the second generation of Kodiaq, their 7-seater luxury 4x4 SUV. Prices for the new 2025 Kodiaq begin at ₹46.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Sportline variant, rising to ₹48.69 lakh for the Selection L&K trim. Online bookings are open, with deliveries scheduled to commence on May 2.

Assembled locally at Skoda's facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, the new Kodiaq is built on the MQB37 platform. It is powered by a 2-litre TSI petrol engine producing 201bhp and 320Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission distributing power to all four wheels. ARAI-certified fuel efficiency stands at 14.86kmpl. Compared to its predecessor, the new model is 59mm longer at 4,758mm. It retains its three-row seating configuration, offering 281 litres of boot space with all seats up, expanding to 786 litres with the third row folded, and 1,976 litres with both rear rows down.

Inside, the Kodiaq features a new 13-inch infotainment system, multi-function Smart Dials for controlling various functions, and a gear selector moved behind the steering wheel. Other features include Ergo front seats with massage function, 9 airbags, a panoramic sunroof, and a 725W Canton sound system.

Exterior highlights include LED Beam Crystallinium headlamps with a welcome effect, LED rear lights with dynamic blinkers and Skoda logo projection from front doors. For the additional ₹1.8lakh, the Selection L&K trim gets a different 18-inch alloy design, light strip in the grille, massage and ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, pre-crash protection system, hill start assist with hill descent control and a drive mode selector. The Selection L&K trim distinguishes itself visually with dark chrome accents, Cognac leather interiors, and a two-spoke steering wheel, compared to the Sportline's gloss black accents, black Suedia upholstery, and three-spoke wheel.

Six colour options are available, with exclusive shades for each trim. Skoda is offering a standard 5-year/125,000 km warranty, 10-year complimentary Road-Side Assistance and first year complimentary standard maintenance package.
