Maruti Suzuki Victoris launched, prices start from ₹10.49 lakh
Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Victoris mid-size SUV have now been revealed;
Following its unveil, prices for the Maruti Suzuki Victoris have now been revealed, with the mid-size SUV being launched at ₹10.49 lakh. The Victoris will be offered with either a mild-hybrid or a strong powertrain, along with a CNG variant. You also get the option of AWD with the Victoris.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris styling
The Victoris is based on the same platform as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and has the same wheelbase, but the former is marginally longer (by 15mm) and wider (by 10mm) than the latter. The Victoris gets LED projector headlamps with DRLs up front and the mid-size SUV is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, available in a single or dual-tone finish. You also get 10 colour schemes on offer which include dual-tone options.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris interior and features
The interior of the Victoris gets gets two colour schemes – a black and ivory dual-tone interior colour scheme with silver accents as standard, and the strong-hybrid variants of the Victoris get the option of an all-black interior with champagne gold accents. You get a new steering wheel, and the front seats of the Victoris ventilated, with the driver’s seat being electrically adjustable. The Victoris also gets 64-colour ambient lighting and a powered tailgate. Like the Grand Vitara, a panoramic sunroof is present, and the Victoris is equipped with a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. At 10.1-inch, the size of the infotainment touchscreen on the Victoris is larger than that of the Grand Vitara’s, and the infotainment system features wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and has Alexa Auto Voice AI built-in with over 40 features. The system is also capable of receiving OTA updates, while the Infinity sound system gets 8 speakers and Dolby Atmos.
In terms of safety, the SUV is equipped with six airbags as standard on all variants, all-wheel disc brakes and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The Victoris is the first Maruti Suzuki product to offer ADAS, and the Level 2 system includes functions such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with curve speed reduction, lane keep assist, high beam assist, a blind spot monitor with lane change alert and rear cross traffic alert. The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has also received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP, for both adult occupant protection and child occupant protection in the crash tests.
Maruti Suzuki Victoris powertrain
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris can be had with a mild-hybrid powertrain that makes use of a 1.5-litre nat-asp petrol engine with an integrated starter generator, and this powertrain is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, with the ALLGRIP all-wheel-drive system being optional on the latter. You can also get it with a CNG powertrain, with an underbody tank. The strong-hybrid powertrain is mated to an e-CVT.

Prices for the Victoris start from ₹10.49 lakh for the entry-level variant with the mild-hybrid powertrain and the manual transmission, with the most affordable automatic variant priced at ₹13.35 lakh. Only the mild-hybrid powertrain gets the option of AWD, and prices for the AWD-equipped Victoris start from ₹18.63 lakh. Meanwhile, the Victoris CNG prices start from ₹11.49 lakh. When it comes to the Victoris with the strong-hybrid powertrain, prices for it start from ₹16.37 lakh.
