Performance has always been the priority at Mercedes-AMG and both the GT 63 and GT 63 Pro are powered by a 4-litre biturbo V8 engine. In the GT 63, this engine produces 577bhp of power and 800Nm of torque, with a claimed 0 to 100kmph time of 3.2 seconds. The GT 63 has a top speed of 315kmph (claimed). In comparison, the GT 63 Pro makes an additional 27bhp of power from the same engine, bringing the power output to 603bhp. You also get 850Nm of torque – a 50Nm increase over the standard GT 63. The increased performance was achieved by adapting the engine control unit, and the claimed top speed of the GT 63 Pro is 317kmph. Interestingly, the GT 63 Pro’s 0 to 100kmph time is the same as that of the GT 63, at 3.2 seconds. Both these AMGs have the engine mated to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission.

At the rear, an active rear spoiler is integrated into the design. You also get an underbody diffuser at the rear with four vertical fins, along with redesigned twin tail pipes.
The GT 63 Pro builds on this design with aerodynamic enhancements which include additional air deflectors made of carbon fibre around the side air intakes. You also get the AIRPANEL active air control system in the front apron and a fixed rear wing on the tailgate as standard with the GT 63 Pro. The car is also equipped with 21-inch forged wheels, ceramic high-performance composite brakes (available as chargeable option on the standard GT 63), black painted brake callipers and the AMG Carbon Exterior Package as standard.
