Hyundai has released the sketches of Venue- touted as the country’s first connected SUV. The preview of the SUV is slated for April 17 in India. The global unveil of the Hyundai Venue will be at the New York International Auto show.

The exteriors of the Hyundai Venue

Though the sketches make the car seem brawny, the production car loses some of its muscle. The massive grille of the Hyundai Venue along with the split headlight design looks unique. While the top ‘slit’ part houses the DRL, the bottom, square unit houses the main headlight unit. The rear too, is rather subtly styled. The tail lamps are square units while the auxiliary light and the reflector are housed in the bumper. The rear skid plate adds to its robust SUV nature. The diamond cut alloy wheels and sunroof will be optional.

The sketches of the interior reveal the well thought of ‘Made for India’ touches. The SUV gets a flat dash top, ideal to host idols, like most of us do. The infotainment system is simple, and located high up, offering a clear view and ease of access. The climate control dials seem chunky. Another interesting bit is what seems to be a recess for storing an umbrella right above the glovebox.
