Country’s finest cars and bikes take centre stage at Sympulse 2020
College festivals are huge in India. Most of them are organized college students themselves and their display of professionalism, passion and enthusiasm is noteworthy, given the fact that they have to balance it out against academics, which is always on top priority. Organised annually by the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune, Sympulse is one of the biggest college festivals in the country. Spanning across five days, this international student fest is a great platform for budding artists, entrepreneurs, musicians and youngsters from diverse backgrounds to showcase their skills. Car and bike enthusaists too can have a gala at Sympulse’s Pitstop event where a plethora of exotic modern and classic supercars and superbikes are showcased annually.
Just like the previous year, throngs of young car enthusiasts from across the city gathered at the SCMS campus in Vimannagar, Pune, where evo India is an official automotive partner. It started with two Ford Mustangs making a grand entry followed by exotics like the Aston Martin Rapide, Audi R8, Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Bentley Mulsanne EWB, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Porsche 718 Cayman among many others. Soon after that, bikers too entered the pitstop area, greeted by hundreds of fans. We witnessed motorcycles like the Kawasaki Z900, Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special and Forty Eight, BMW G 310 R, Ducati 959 Panigale, Suzuki Hayabusa, Triumph Rocket 3 among many more.
After the supercar and superbike show and a motorcycle stunt show, the event concluded following a thrilling display of go-kart drifting performed by VW Ameo Cup champion Dhruv Mohite. Organised and managed entirely by SCMS students, Pitstop is a great opportunity for petrolheads to gather under one roof and share their passion for cars and bikes unlike anywhere else.
