Mercedes-Benz has launched the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition in India today at ₹4.3 crore (ex-showroom). It gets an option from two unique colours, limited edition badging on the outside and inside, and will be limited to 30 units only. The sheer capabilities of the G 63 AMG, and the powertrain remains unchanged.

Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled the G 63 Collector’s Edition, a highly exclusive version of the iconic SUV limited to just 30 units. Available in two colours – Mid Green Magno and Red Magno – this special edition draws inspiration from the Indian monsoon, celebrating the emotional resonance of the first rain across the country. Distinct touches include a ‘1 of 30’ plaque on the spare wheel, a Collector’s Edition strip on the exterior, and 22-inch Tech Gold cross-forged AMG wheels. On the inside, you get personalised open-pore walnut wooden grab handles bearing the owner’s name, and two-tone Nappa leather upholstery in Catalana Beige and Black.
The car will only be offered to Mercedes-Benz India’s top portfolio clients, and bookings open today at dealerships and on the website. Deliveries are set to begin in the start of Q4, 2025.
Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition powertrain
With the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition, the powertrain and true nature of the G Class remains unchanged. It continues to sport a 4-litre biturbo V8 engine that pushes out 585bhp and 850Nm. The ISG gives an additional 20bhp and 200Nm. 0 to 100kmph comes up in 4.4 seconds, and top speed is 240kmph.

The Mercedes- AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition gets two updates inside – personalised open-pore walnut wooden grab handles bearing the owner’s name, and two-tone Nappa leather upholstery in Catalana Beige and Black.
It continues to feature twin 12.3-inch displays – one for the cluster and one for the info system. The materials used inside include Nappa leather upholstery and open-pore walnut wood trim, while customisable ambient lighting adds a touch of personalisation too. The 18-speaker 760W Burmester 3D Surround Sound System, includes a satellite loudspeaker in the roof liner. Off-road driving sees an upgrade too, with a redesigned off-road display showing data like tyre pressure, steering angle, and altitude, along with a Transparent Hood feature that displays the terrain directly in front of the car. Noise insulation has been improved with acoustic glass and added soundproofing, helping keep the cabin quiet and refined even on rough roads.
