Lexus Sport Concept unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The concept shines a light on what future sports cars from Lexus might look and feel like, with radical new styling and design elements.
The exterior of the Lexus Sport Concept has a low and sleek shape that looks sporty and modern. At the front, it has two tall air intakes with sharp L-shaped lights. The middle of the bumper has a large opening, and the hood has two angled vents. On the sides, there are several cuts and lines on the body, especially air vents behind the front wheels that connect to the air intakes near the back windows. The roof is black, and the side mirrors are replaced by small cameras. At the back, the car has a large light bar across the width, a noticeable diffuser at the bottom, and a spoiler on top. There are no visible exhaust pipes, suggesting it may be an electric car.
Lexus has revealed the interior of its new Sport Concept, offering a glimpse into the future of their sports cars. The cabin is designed to focus on the driver, with a yoke-style steering wheel replacing the traditional round design. This steering yoke controls a unique three-screen instrument cluster that changes its display depending on the position of the steering. Inside, the seats are covered in white fabric, suggesting a sustainable approach. The design avoids clutter and stays very minimal, creating an open and airy space. The interior also features subtle ambient lighting and two-tone colour accents, adding some visual interest without being overwhelming.
One of the more surprising elements is the inclusion of a built-in drone. This shows that Lexus is thinking beyond just a traditional car experience and exploring new ways to bring technology into their vehicles. The drone hints at possibilities such as features that could assist the driver or add new functionality, which remains to be seen.
While it is only a concept and many details may change, this interior gives a clear idea of what Lexus has in mind for its next generation of sporty vehicles. It remains to be seen how close production models will get to this vision, but it sets the tone for a future where cars are both functional and innovative.
