Tata Motors has unveiled the Tata Altroz facelift
Tata Motors has unveiled the facelifted version of the Tata Altroz hatchback ahead of its official launch which is due to take place soon. The Tata Altroz was launched in 2020 and while it is one of the nicest-looking hatchbacks present in the segment, the design of the Altroz has now been given an update to make sure it continues to remain fresh while competing against segment rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
Tata Altroz facelift design
With the facelift, Tata Motors has given the Altroz a sharper face thanks to the reworked bumpers, a new design for the LED headlights and a reworked front grille. You now get flush door handles on the Tata Altroz as opposed to the earlier pull-type door handles which were present earlier. Moving to the rear, the Altroz facelift gets what Tata calls the Infinity connected LED tail lamps and a new design for the 16-inch alloy wheels. The overall design now gets styling touches which brings the design of the Altroz in-line with what we have seen on other Tata Motors models like the current-generation Tata Nexon. The Altroz can be had with five colour options – Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White.
Tata Altroz facelift interiors and features
Tata Motors mentions that the Altroz now gets a new ‘Grand Prestigia’ dashboard and the overall design of it is inspired from larger Tata Motors models like the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari. The hatchback will be available in five variants or ‘personas’, and is equipped with features such as 6 airbags and ESP, a digital instrument cluster, an air purifier, 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a dual-tone roof, electric sunroof, LED fog lamps and wireless charging for your smartphone.
Tata Altroz facelift engine
It is likely that the Tata Altroz facelift will be offered with the same engine options as the outgoing model. These include a 1.2-litre nat-asp petrol (which can also be had with CNG), a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel.
Tata Altroz facelift price
Prices for the Tata Altroz facelift will be announced soon at the launch of the hatchback on May 22, and you can expect it to command a premium over the outgoing model, while going up against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It is also likely that the Altroz facelift will be offered in a Dark Edition avatar, just like the rest of the models present in the Tata Motors lineup.
